Chris Nygaard has always loved doodling, but it wasn’t until 2005 when he got this idea – what if you could create art for a living? There for he changed courses and studied illustration for two years at Norges Kreative Fagskole in Bergen, Norway. After that he travelled to the other side of the world to finish his Bachelor of Arts at Curtin University in Perth, Australia.

When returning to home he joined Reklamekollektivet for a year but decided to leave the great people there to pursue other goals. He also joined Hulen, one of Europe`s oldest concert avenues, and created event- and concert posters there for several years.

Currently he is a graphic designer for Lerøy Seafood, and for Bergen International Festival, whilst working on personal projects on the side.

His time spent trying new things has resulted in a versatile style, making him able to takle a lot of different work in all sorts of formats.
